Oh gee. They’re turning off all the lights in Departures.
Perhaps one of the more annoying thing about having all my baggage on me, alone, with nothing to do with them, is that I can’t really go to the bathroom without risking having all my stuff stolen from me.
This sucks.
So far, this leg of my journey has been pretty godawful. It’s been a graceful snowball of small things (and one gigantic thing) into a literal mess that now leaves me sitting in the departures terminal (not behind security) at Incheon International at 8:37 PM until 6 AM tomorrow morning, when they’ll let me check [...]
As of the clock now, I’ll be beginning my journey to China in about… 15 hours or so. That is, of course, if you don’t count from when I left Connecticut as the “beginning.” Either way, my flight leaves around 7:30 AM tomorrow.

5.x miles in, an overnight, then 5.x miles out – in all, 11 – 12 miles hiked (with 50 lbs of crap on our backs).
Then a bonfire cookout on a rocky riverbed.
