About My Art:

Right now I rely heavily on traditional linework (with my trusty dip nibs and india ink) done on smooth bristol board. I’m mostly self taught, since high school was kind of a joke and art school didn’t quite pan out, so I’m gradually developing more robust skills in the digital paint department. Otherwise, I augment my line drawings with digital watercolor (there’s a huge difference from standard digital paint, I swear). I’ve got a little background in 3D, and I’ve started fiddling with SketchUp as an artist’s tool.

About Me:

I grew up in Connecticut. Or, at least, I was here between the ages of 00 and 18 on a full time, non-contract basis. I did most of my growing up in the last four years though. I did Art School at NYU for a year, which was a bust, so I transfered and got my degree in Asian Studies, Writing and Illustration from Marlboro College in Vermont. My hobbies, major influences, and future aspirations all mostly lie in the sci-fi/fantasy department and run the gamut from gaming (tabletop, PC), to movies/television shows (Farscape, Firefly), to novels (graphic and otherwise). Aside from that, I’m a traveler. I’ve circumnavigated the globe once, and hope to do so again soon.

You also may (or may not) have noticed, but I try not to take myself too seriously.
